Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher Village Kids Children’s Centre

Must have 4 Year Qualification and Queensland Teachers Registration
The successful applicant will be employed under The Education services Teachers Award 2010.
Essential:
•An appropriate qualification of Bachelor of Teaching – Early Childhood or an equivalent qualification, which is recognized under the Act.
•Be registered Teacher in Queensland.
•A clear understanding of early childhood development.
•Highly developed communication skills.
•To have developed plans through implementing and evaluating a developmental program of routines and activities suitable to the needs of children of all ages.
•Demonstrated proof of flexibility and the ability to co-operate with staff, children and parents.
•A valid Working with Children Card (Blue Card)
•A current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificate.
Desirable:
•Experience working in Children’s Services
•Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
•A working knowledge of Education & Care Service National Regulations 2011 and the Education & Care Service National Law 2011.
•To have undertaken further training relevant to children’s services.
•An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.
•Experience in an emergent curriculum based program.
