Diamond Protection provides security, emergency and training services which enhance and improve the safety and efficiency of client’s assets.

The client is looking to fill a full-time permanent position for a qualified and skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join the team and drive continuous improvement across the organisation. The Quality Assurance Manager is tasked with developing and implementing the company's quality strategy in alignment with assurance, risk, audit, and compliance frameworks.

This role is pivotal in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and service value. Responsibilities include overseeing quality systems and inspection processes, driving quality improvements across projects, and ensuring compliance with quality policies and procedures.

The Quality Assurance Manager will also focus on internal audit, risk management, operational excellence, and fostering a strong compliance culture within the organization. Key activities involve developing service standards, managing customer feedback, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading the internal audit program.

This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance business performance and service The role is also focused on developing process maps, policies, and procedures to ensure the business is compliant.

About You

As a professional with sound experience within a quality and assurance role, you will be experienced in enforcing quality and compliance across the organisation. Your excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills will guide your facilitation of internal and external audits as required.      

On a regular basis a Quality Assurance Manager leads quality business performance reviews, owns mid-term and long-term action plans, and engages and influences cross-functional teams to deliver on performance and project goals.

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification with at least 2 years’ experience in quality assurance role. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.7

What you will be responsible for:

·     Create, implement, and manage quality assurance and quality improvement processes and procedures for security services

·     Ensure relevant Quality Objectives are established, and championed through active collaboration with stakeholders

·     Drive the organisation’s quality and compliance strategy

·     Ensure compliance of quality systems e.g., change controls, deviations, incidences, customer complaints etc.

·     Conduct internal audits, monitor performance metrics, and prepare detailed reports on quality compliance and improvements

·     Ensure compliance of quality systems e.g., change controls, deviations, incidences, customer complaints etc.

·     Provide guidance and training to staff members on quality standards, and provide regulatory updates

·     Regular reporting to the management on compliance issues

·     Undertake root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and practice development

·     Initiate internal corrective actions necessary to ensure overall quality compliance

·     Develop and draft new policies and procedures, identify and implement improvements to quality processes, procedures, and system

·     Keep abreast of best practice and emerging trends and interpretations of legislative/regulatory requirements that may impact Diamond Protection’s business and quality assurance strategies

·     Create quality assurance plan that defines service requirements, measuring performance and making continual improvements

Demonstrate high ethical standards whilst fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization

Skills, experience, and attributes:

*Demonstrated experience in quality, risk, compliance or audit and accreditation processes

*Significant and demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and relationship building

*Experience providing best practice quality assurance, against established standards

*Experience in conducting audits, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives

*Experience managing direct reports
