The Aboriginal Health Practitioner classification level AHP4 is an experienced, proficient and senior practitioner who is able to work autonomously, within their scope of practice, understands the health system and organisation. This position is based within the TEMHAODS – Mental Health Access Team; and will engage in the provision of mental health triage, mental assessments of clients in the community and emergency department, with short term brief intervention through the Acute Care Team using a recovery-based framework.
