Remuneration value up to $484 807 p.a. (L25 – L27) or Remuneration value up to $443 589 p.a. (L18 – L24), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements.


Duties/Abilities:


An exciting opportunity exists to join the Tropical Public Health Services team.


Lead a large public health unit with multidisciplinary teams covering the Cairns and Hinterland region in Far North Queensland. Reporting to the Executive of the CHHHS and liaising with local health service providers, and other government and private agencies to maximise the health and wellbeing of the population of the area and to develop systems through liaison and research to lead and take forward the provision of public health in the region in the future.


Further your experience by joining our dedicated team at Cairns Hospital, adding value to the health service through continual development of clinical knowledge and skills.


It is a condition of employment for this role to be, and remain, vaccinated against the vaccine preventable diseases during employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16).
