We are seeking an experienced Security Service Technician for our QLD operations. The purpose of this role is to service customer sites to provide on-site technical support (maintenance and repair) so that contractual commitments are met. The successful candidate will maximise customer satisfaction and minimise customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support.
Key Responsibilities
• Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third party security equipment (as per trade expertise)
• Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance.
• Configuration of Access Control, Security, XL500 and CCTV systems.
• Diagnoses Fault and repairs on Access Control, Security, XL500 and CCTV Systems.
• Software load and Configuration of DVM and EBI Systems.
• Small to Medium project installations including managing Subcontractors.
• Estimates materials costs and quantities and ordering parts
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients
• Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by Operations Manager
• Achievement, measurement and reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives
• Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as per agreed rosters and as directed
• Ensuring delivery of value to Honeywell clients and customers
• Reporting near misses, incidents and other opportunities for improvement
• Carry out hazard and risk assessments (JSA) for all tasks as per company policy and procedures.
Education & Qualifications
• Security License - essential
• Intermediate to High computer skills
• Trade Certificate in a relevant discipline - preferred
• Electrical or Electronics Associate Diploma or higher an Advantage
• Experience
• Fault finding and repairs to Electronic equipment
• Experience with Honeywell control systems and EBI products in Security applications is an advantage.
