We currently have a 3 month contract opportunity available for a Marketing Specialist to join AGL Solar based in Highett, Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high profile and growing business within the broader AGL brand. Reporting to the Marketing Programs Manager you will support the broader marketing team to develop and implement AGL Solar's marketing program and sales support initiatives to both the Commercial and Residential markets.

Specifically the role of Marketing Specialist aims to:
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan including objectives, strategies, tactics, budget and metrics
• Develop and implement Marketing Activity Plans for all marketing initiatives
• Identify and implement new customer segment opportunities based on channel, customer and market insight
• Continually monitor and optimise the effectiveness of demand generation programs to ensure cost per lead (CPL) and lead volumes are achieved
• Maintain demand generation forecasting for marketing, sales force and operations planning
• Briefing the sales consultants on marketing initiatives, seeking and responding to insights from sales and customers directly
To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified and demonstrate previous experience working within an agency or corporate environment where you have supported B2C and B2B Marketing initiatives. You will have proven experience in retail demand generation marketing and sales conversion, along with extensive customer segmentation experience in order to create customer value propositions and innovative marketing programs. You will have strong presentation and negotiating skills and your analytical skills will be of the highest order as you interpret and respond to performance indicators. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to manage multiple timeframes and competing project priorities but also be passionate and motivated to work towards the teams' short and longer term objectives.
