We currently have an opportunity for a Business Process Architect to join our Business Architecture group which is responsible for establishing overall processes for the greater AGL business to follow. Leading a team of 3 Process Analysts, you will play a pivotal role in delivering initiatives within AGL's Retail Operations group focusing on Credit and Payments, as well as ensuring all processes are documented and aligned to AGL's future strategy.

This position provides you with the opportunity to broaden your understanding of the business by engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and to be involved in strategy development activities.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Ensuring business strategies take into account the timeframes and resources required to deliver them by seeking and providing expert advice to business leaders.
• Ensuring Retail Solution, Market and Regulatory improvement opportunities and obligations are considered as part of developing the business strategies by providing a prioritised list of initiatives into the Business Strategic Planning process.
• Maintaining a continuous 12-18 month program of work which has appropriate change control to ensure is kept up to date but provides delivery certainty over the short to medium term.
• Facilitating prioritization of all initiatives within your area of responsibility and support overall prioritization as part of the Retail Solution prioritization using factual business benefit measures.
• Facilitating involvement of business stakeholders in development and prioritization of initiatives.
• Defining areas of opportunity and clearly defining requirements with business owners to meet their challenges and create increased business value.
• Embedding industry best practice concepts and practices by utilising external networks and other research.
• To be successful in this role you will ideally have extensive experience using SAP and you will have demonstrated the successful delivery of large scale projects through the full software development life cycle.
• Having previously worked within a utilities or telecommunications environment, you will have a proven track record of delivery and change capabilities across the credit industry.
• You need to be a thought leader and an excellent communicator who can effectively lead a team of analysts.
• With highly developed stakeholder engagement skills you will be able to articulate the benefits of a business case and present solutions utilising your highly developed analytical skills.
• In addition to this, your ability to build strong relationships as you negotiate and influence outcomes across a broad stakeholder group will be key to your success.
