Located on a hillside in the historic and picturesque suburb of Toowong in Brisbane, Anglicare Southern Queensland’s St John’s Home is a fully-accredited aged care facility strengthened by a team of values-driven professionals who sincerely care about what we do and the contribution we make to our clients’ lives.

Our current focus is transformation – enabling, enhancing and growing our Facility in line with industry best-practice. We’re currently seeking a specialist aged care nursing professional to make a significant contribution as our new Care Coordinator.
As our Care Coordinator you’ll enjoy a practical, hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating, monitoring and improving clinical operations, clinical staff management and leadership and clinical education and continuous improvement activities.
This position is a Level 3 RN role, reporting to the Facility Manager.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse with excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to a continuous improvement approach. Our successful candidate will also show a strong resident focus, excellent clinical knowledge and highly developed leadership skills, together with the drive to make a real contribution to our team. You’ll have practical knowledge of legislative requirements of residential aged care and a robust knowledge of accreditation standards and ACFI.
Most importantly, you will be an experienced aged care nurse committed to steering improvement and practice in the industry, with the passion and commitment to embrace and champion change and work alongside our clinical team to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.
You will also require current registration with AHPRA with evidence of recent practice and are required to hold and maintain a National Police Certificate or be eligible to receive one prior to commencing.
