About the Organisation
The State Sports Centres Trust (SSCT) is a statutory authority which governs the Melbourne Sports Hub's four venues - Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, State Netball Hockey Centre, Lakeside Stadium and the MSAC Institute of Training, a specialist training institute for the sport and recreation industry.
Melbourne Sports Hub is home to a diverse range of programs and hosts events such as national swimming events as well as high profile events like the Commonwealth Games, World Hockey Championships and the World Swimming Championships.
About the Opportunity
The Melbourne Sports Hub has an exciting opportunity for a Aquatic and Risk Manager to join their team based at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre in Albert Park, Victoria.
Working as a member of the SSCT Management Team and across all four venues, you will be responsible for the management of all Risk and Safety matters including compliance with legislation, standards and codes of practice, as well as providing leadership and management of SSCT Duty Manager and Aquatic Operations teams, including lifeguards, event management and human resource management.
About the Benefits

You'll love being involved with high profile national and international events such as the World Hockey Championships, as well as National and World Swimming Championships.
In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive an attractive salary circa $60,000 - $80,000, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
This is not a 9-5 role, and as there is some out of hours work required to oversee events, you'll find lots of flexibility for you to plan your hours around your workload, as well as receiving time off in lieu for any additional hours worked.
