Our Power direct business is looking for a Save and Intervention Specialist to join their team in East Burwood on an 8 month contract.
As the Save & Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying any customer who is at risk of transferring to another retailer. You will achieve this by being responsible for early intervention to customers who are/or considering transferring to another retailer or cancelling a contract with Powerdirect which will include customers who are cancelling a contract prior to transfer. You will also be responsible for re-signing customers who are nearing the expiration of their contract term.
You will be personally accountable for adopting a culture of understanding the 'Reasons Why' customers are cancelling. Using retention processes and tools you will proactively attempt to retain customers and stop the churn. This will include identifying and resolving customer issues and concerns, conducting rate comparisons and presenting counter offers to customers. You will deploy a Retention model that will ultimately deliver a differentiated customer experience, consistent with the Business Customers Value Proposition and the overall AGL brand promises. Your role would also involve liaising with different teams throughout AGL Energy / Powerdirect to increase retention activities, including Customer Service, Billing, Movers, Pricing, Transfers and Customer Advocacy.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong customer service and sales background, ideally gained within a previous call centre role. You will feel comfortable and confident in working within a KPI driven and be able to negotiate and influence customers towards a successful outcome for the business. Overall you are focused, dedicated, hard working individual, with ability to resolves issues and take accountability.
