About the Opportunity
The Shire of Halls Creek has a rare opportunity for an experienced Local Government Manager - Finance and Accounting Services to leave the rat race of the city behind and head north to the spectacular Kimberley region and the Shire of Halls Creek, WA.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will see you responsible for the high performance and continued improvement across the Finance and Accounts Department, providing supervision, leadership and direction to department staff. You will also be managing the Shire's finances in accordance with statutory requirements and set procedure and policy, and/or provide support and assistance to the CEO in relation to financial management.
