As MES Project Manager, your main objective is to provide professional Project Management of Advanced Solutions projects throughout the Pacific region.
The MES PM, will provide project management leadership for Information System applications within the Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining and Manufacturing industries. Information Systems are defined as those systems existing within the execution layer (MES), providing decision support information for:

•Equipment Performance and Reliability
•Production Performance
•Product Quality
•Material Movement
•Supply Chain Optimisation
•Energy Consumption
•Environmental Compliance
Key responsibilities
•Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of projects to the required quality, schedule and budget.
•Take responsibility for managing customer relationships and developing sponsors for Honeywell.
•Deploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of projects.
•Manage effective communications with all project stakeholders.
•Deliver to the financial objectives for the project and region.
•Manage risks and communicate these to management on a regular basis.
•Undertake detailed planning and scheduling of the project and manage resource allocation as part of the overall process for the region.
•Report to Pacific management on project progress and relevant issues on a regular basis.
•Identify and pursue in conjunction with the account manager any further business opportunities with the customer.
•Deploy the project Safety Plan and EH&S responsibilities to the team.
•Build a high performance team and facilitate the team’s achievement of goals and objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
•Degree in engineering plus 8+ years relevant experience.
•Post graduate qualifications in related discipline are desirable.
•Project Management Institute professional (PMP) accreditation also well regarded.
•Proven track record in professional project management and delivery of large scale, technology based projects to the process industries
•Leadership experience in a professional engineering environment
•Understanding of business, technology and external environment.
•Domain knowledge in one or more key vertical markets (Energy/Oil & Gas, Power Generation/MMM, Chemicals/Life sciences, Pulp, Paper & Printing).
•Working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
•Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated business sense.
