We presently have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Health & Safety (H&S) Advisor to join our HR Advice and Services Division. Reporting directly to the Manager H&S, you will be provided with exceptional opportunity to provide proactive advice and guidance to the HR Business Partner teams and business clients on current and emerging H&S issues.
As a commercially driven, practical and experienced H&S professional you will provide creative and valuable business solutions through fostering strong internal networks within the business. Your expert ability to develop and execute H&S strategies aligned to business goals will ensure that the group continues to build a culture of safety and wellbeing across the organisation. Your ability to project manage from development through to implementation on agreed initiatives will not only ensure relevant business outcomes are achieved but will also allow you to thrive on working closely with relevant Business Units and the HR Business Partnering teams to assist in H&S improvements.
To ensure your success you will:
• Possess a relevant qualification with 3-5 years relevant experience within a similar role
• Proven experience developing and implementing H&S strategies supported by your knowledge of relevant legislations and emerging H&S trends
• Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to improve internal communication and workplace relations
• A strong customer service focus with the ability to understand client requirements at a Group Level and a strong desire to exceed expectations
• You will be joining a highly motivated and focused team where supporting the wellbeing of employees is paramount.
