We are pleased to welcome applications for a number of unique roles on a new and significant Naval support contract at Garden Island in Sydney.
As a member of our team, you'll contribute to the support of a new, state-of-the-art military platform. This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing Maritime business.
The position is accountable for:
• Preserving the company's commercial position, with respect to new work, by developing proposal pricing
• Ensuring that new work has been reviewed for risk
• Maintaining an audit trail from tender to final contract acceptance
• Producing robust pricing by planning and developing the estimate build-up in accordance with procedures
• Convening and conducting estimating and pricing reviews in accordance with the company's project lifecycle management processes
• Reviewing and providing feedback to basis of estimate authors on all bids and major contract change proposals
• Developing bid related price and financial input summaries for management reviews
• Leading pricing negotiations with the customer
To be successful in this position you will possess:
• Strong individual and team motivational skills
• The ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business expectations
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders whilst maintaining strong working relationships
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Significant experience in estimating and pricing
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a business related discipline
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with strong analytical and planning experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
