We are pleased to welcome applications for a number of unique roles on a new and significant Naval support contract at Garden Island in Sydney.

As a member of our team, you'll contribute to the support of a new, state-of-the-art military platform.  This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing Maritime business.

The position is accountable for:
• Ensuring sound communications are maintained between ships' staff, the wider in service support project office and the wider stakeholder community on all operational and technical issues relating to the material state of the ships
• Identifying areas for improvement of the in service support solution
• Program managing the short, medium and long term delivery of maintenance, enhancements, upgrades and problem resolution for the ships in your charge
• Ensuring the highest standard of support delivery whilst optimising the delivery of support to your ships on a whole ship basis
• Maintaining full awareness, at any given point in time, of the material state of the ships
• Ensuring effective partnering between ship staff, the in service support project office and external support providers
To be successful in this position you will possess:

• Substantial experience in the delivery of maritime maintenance, support programs involving large, complex platforms in a service based culture
• Strong leadership skills including a proven ability to motivate a team towards project outcomes
• Strong problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with strong analytical and planning experience
• Relevant Engineering or technical qualification

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
