We are pleased to welcome applications for a number of unique roles on a new and significant Naval support contract at Garden Island in Sydney.

As a member of our team, you'll contribute to the support of a new, state-of-the-art military platform.  This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing Maritime business.

The position is accountable for:

• Undertaking engineering activities within own competence without day to day guidance or supervision, including liaison with customers and suppliers
• The production of specified logistics and support engineering information within the format and schedule required by the project
• Undertaking integrated logistics support analyses in accordance with defined standards and practices and customer requirements
• Providing specialist foreground and background expertise on the application of supportability systems analysis as applied to the mission system
• Deriving support solution requirements, define the test requirements and participating in design and requirement reviews
• Developing support solutions against requirements including their optimisation and presenting the solutions in design reviews
• Developing optimised detail designs and presenting the designs in design reviews

To be successful in this position you will possess:
• Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under his/her own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word, Excel
• Substantial experience in logistics support and in a Defence related technical industry
• Demonstrated leadership experience particularly of technical specialists, or other equivalent experiences
• Diploma, formal trade or technical certificate qualification in engineering and/or equivalent industry experience

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
