As a member of our team, you'll contribute to the support of a new, state-of-the-art military platform. This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing Maritime business.
To be successful in this position you will possess:
• Sound ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent interpersonal, team work and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to implement quality/continuous improvement initiatives
• Tertiary qualifications in quality management (including lead quality auditor training)
• Significant experience with quality practices and standards, including with ISO 9001
• Well-developed problem solving skills with strong analytical and planning experience
• Experience within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
The position is accountable for:
• Ensuring quality standards are maintained to meet company requirements
• Undertaking reviews and reporting on the effectiveness of quality practices
• Providing guidance, advice and support on all quality related matters
• Providing assurance to management that quality practices are being effectively deployed across the project
• Undertaking and leading the identification and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
