Reporting to the Training Manager, you will:

• Prepare course completion certificates
• Provide assistance to amend, develop and deliver training
• Maintain the LHD training delivery schedule and project training management plan
• Maintain project training records including attendance records, trainee results and assessment reports
• Maintain configuration control of all training material
• Ensure trainees have completed the necessary prerequisites prior to commencing training
• Assign classrooms and necessary materials for delivery of courses

As the ideal applicant, you will have:

• Proven experience in a technical training discipline with current demonstrated experience in the development of adult learning environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a rapport with a variety of people
• Highly developed problem solving and organisational skills
• Whilst not essential, knowledge of naval disciplines and defence training models will be highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in training (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is essential)
• An understanding of the engineering development lifecycle

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
