As a member of our team, you'll contribute to the support of a new, state-of-the-art military platform. This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing Maritime business.
The position is accountable for:
• Coordinating visitors, including facilitating orientation of customers
• Ensuring project materials are document controlled
• Coordinating meetings and appointments, taking minutes, recording actions from meetings and maintaining meeting agendas
• Ensuring invoices are approved and passed to accounts in a timely manner, raising purchase requisitions and processing project invoices in accordance with company procedures
• Coordinating all travel arrangements and preparing travel itineraries for the team
• Undertaking clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, processing outgoing mail, filing correspondence and maintaining confidential records
• Producing organisation charts, PowerPoint presentations, reports and papers
To be successful in this position you will possess:
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong team work skills, with the ability to work and develop a rapport with a variety of people
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Whilst not essential, a certificate in administration or similar is desirable.
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
