We are pleased to welcome applications for a number of unique roles on a new and significant Naval support contract at Garden Island in Sydney.
As a member of our team, you'll contribute to the support of a new, state-of-the-art military platform. This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing Maritime business.
The position is accountable for:
• Ensuring consistency and governance across the project
• Optimising the maintenance planning, execution and reporting services
• Examining and exploring new technologies to improve processes where required
• Reporting the progress of the planned maintenance schedule in conjunction with the project manager
• Providing support at weekly progress meetings, reporting project status and work activities
• Providing information and compiling task analysis reports
• Managing the interface with maintenance activities, the Fleet Support Unit (FSU) and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN)
• Responsible for the task material list and analysis report highlighting any concerns
To be successful in this position you will possess:
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with strong analytical and planning experience
• Substantial experience working in a maintenance environment
• A trade or related technical background
• Previous experience engaging with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN)
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
