Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, self motivated team player to work at our Integrated Community Aged and Disability Services office in Frankston to provide administration support to our management and care manager teaBrotherhood Community Care supports people with complex physical and/or psychological needs to live in the community by providing care management and support services. The program aims to support frail older vulnerable people, younger people with a disability and those with complex support needs.
The position is three days per week Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9am-5pm (6 month maximum term appointment).

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Client accounts
• Service agreement database maintenance
• General administrative tasks.
• Back up for accounts payable.
• Provide day to day administrative support to Brotherhood Community Care management team including telephone answering, petty cash, mail, purchase orders, etc

To meet the Key Selection Criteria the successful applicant must have:

• A high degree of professionalism and well developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to advise and liaise across all levels of the organisation internally and externally.
• The ability to be sensitive to the needs of people from different economic, social and cultural backgrounds and those with complex conditions.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
• Appropriate experience and technical skills with a sound working knowledge of all aspects of an accounts receivable/payable administration role.
• Experience using database software, similar to TCM (not essential as training will be provided).
• Excellent skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Demonstrated experience and achievement in the provision of a broad range of administration duties and significant experience in the operation and maintenance of general office equipment.
