About the Opportunities Sydney Day Surgery - Prince Alfred have two exciting opportunities for nursing professionals in Newtown, Sydney. The opportunities are for a Registered Recovery Nurse and a Pre-Operative EEN. These positions are offered on a Full Time basis working rotating 8 hour shifts, Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7am and 8pm. For each of these positions, it is essential that you are suitably qualified and registered in Australia. The Registered Recovery Nurse must have recent surgical recovery experience, preferably in a Day Surgery setting (although this is not essential). Importantly, you must have Paediatric experience to be considered for this position. You'll also be experienced with 1st & 2nd stage recovery as well as discharge planning. The Pre-Operative EEN must have recent surgical ward experience. Again, experience in a Day Surgery setting is desirable but not essential to be considered.
You will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery and time will be of the essence so it is essential that you are quick on your feet and able to work within tight time frames.
