Job Title:Enterprise Data Architect

The Enterprise Data Architect will facilitate the development of the right future-state architecture and ensure its effective adoption. They provide overall direction, guidance and definition of architecture programs that effectively supports business strategies. They advocate and support the enterprise’s IT strategies, identify and analyse enterprise business drivers, analyse the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, recommend solutions for improvement and develop strategies aligning IT to the business..

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Creates the strategic requirements, principles, models and designs that strengthen the network effect of sharing such information across the enterprise.
• Facilitates development of cross-LOB (enterprise) solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques.
• Analyses, designs, and develops a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
• Provides leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout their domain.
REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or a related field. Or equivalent work experience.
• Substantial experience in defining enterprise data architecture and strategy.
• At least 8 years of data architecture domain experience covering at least data modelling, data warehousing, business intelligence, enterprise content management , data services/SOA, data governance, data security, metadata management and master data management.
• Architecture leadership and mentoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as necessary.
