The Darling Downs South West Queensland Medicare Local is part of a network of 61 Medicare Locals who have been set up by the Australian Government to coordinate primary health care delivery, tackle local health needs and fill identified service delivery gaps. As a not-for-profit organisation, they provide support services to primary health care programs and professionals across the Darling Downs and South West Queensland region.
About the Opportunity:
Darling Downs South West Queensland Medicare Local has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join their team in Toowoomba, QLD on a full time fixed term contract until 30th June 2016.
Reporting to the Executive - Clinical Services, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the employed and subcontracted allied health professionals, including direct support to the Executive - Clinical Services. In addition, you will act as first point of contact for the Health Service Centre.
