Located on a hillside in the historic and picturesque suburb of Toowong in Brisbane, Anglicare Southern Queensland’s St John’s Home is a fully-accredited aged care facility providing a supportive, home-like environment for our 64 male residents. We’re currently seeking Part Time & Casual Registered Nurses to join our night duty team, and provide a range of high quality support to our residents.
This opportunity is ideally suited to experienced Registered Nurses wanting to work within the aged care sector and keen to utilise their clinical knowledge and skills in the areas of palliative care, wound care, medication management and post acute care. We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Nurses with excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to a continuous improvement approach. Our successful candidates will also show a strong client focus, highly developed documentation skills and an unwavering attention to detail, together with the drive to make our a real contribution to our Facility.
You will also require current registration with AHPRA with evidence of recent practice and are required to hold and maintain a National Police Certificate or be eligible to receive one prior to commencing.
