Job Description:
Brotherhood Community Care supports people with complex physical and/or psychological needs to live in the community by providing care management and support services. The program aims to support frail older vulnerable people, younger people with a disability and those with complex support needs.

The position is two days per week Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 am- 5.00 pm

Key duties and responsibilities include:

* To handle numerous telephone enquiries from clients, care managers and others promptly in a clear and friendly manner. General administrative tasks.
* Data entry of client services and provision of monthly statistics to Manager for Monthly Report. * Liaise directly with clients and carers in relation to service provision.
* Liaise with Care Managers, Care Packages, service provider's.
* Changing and documenting client changes to care manager and changes to funding.
* Maintain appropriate professional standards for dealing with material of a confidential and sensitive nature.
* To undertake database input on confidential client information accurately so they are accessible and retrievable.

To meet the Key Selection Criteria the successful applicant must have:

* Appropriate experience and technical skills with a sound working knowledge of all aspects of an administration role.
* A high degree of professionalism and well developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to advise and liaise across all levels of the organisation internally and externally.
* The ability to be sensitive to the needs of people from different economic, social and cultural backgrounds and those with complex conditions.
* Ability to work as a member of a team
* Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.

Additional hours will be available backfilling Admin staff leave.
