As Supervisor Processing Operations you will be responsible for the supervision of multi-skilled work teams in order to optimise plant throughput, efficiency, reliability, quality and costs in accordance with the BMA's policies and objectives
Key responsibilities and duties include:
-The ability and courage to lead change and develop a high performing crew;
-An absolute commitment to work safely, comply with all site safety standards, compliance with mine working procedures and ensure a safe and environmentally healthy workplace;
-An ability to plan, organise and coordinate a variety of tasks (production and maintenance) within a dynamic environment;
-Coaching and developing crew and ensuring they adhere to targets;
-Manage, coordinate ROM and Coal Processing activities; and
-Actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have:
-Previous experience in a processing plant or maintenance environment;
-Demonstrated leadership skills and the willingness to support and lead a team;
-The ability to plan, organise and coordinate a variety of tasks within a changing environment;
-Computer literacy / familiarity with the Microsoft suite of programs, previous SAP experience;
-Trade or Operator background will be high advantageous; and
-Well-developed written, verbal and communication skills.
-The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with the confidence to involve their people in all elements of the work. Demonstrated interpersonal skills necessary to be an effective leader of a broadly skilled team and strong commitment to achieving "Zero Harm" are essential to your success in this position.
