Goonyella Riverside is currently seeking an Officer Site Contractor Accommodation, reporting to the relevant mine site Superintendent within the Mine Planning Department, whilst working closely with the centralised Brisbane-based Contractor Accommodation Services (CAS) team. As a member of the CAS 'virtual team', this role will be responsible for coordinating all contractor accommodation requirements at the mine site and communicating this with accuracy and timeliness to the Brisbane CAS team. This will include the booking and forecasting of contractor accommodation, as well as working with CAS to maximise utilisation of available and booked accommodation, and to resolve any issues as required. This role will be instrumental in liaising with both site-based personnel and external contractors to achieve a high level of accuracy in relation to accommodation booking and forecasting; reconciling, cost tracking and processing the corresponding invoices. The successful candidate will receive excellent training and development and work with a high performing team to achieve objectives that will impact whole of business operations.
As a potential successful candidate for this role, you will possess the following attributes:
-strong administrator with excellent data entry, Microsoft Excel and analysis skills
-excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships to work constructively with internal and external stakeholders
-attention to detail and problem solving abilities
-dedication to continuous improvement
-multi-tasking abilities to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes; and
-self motivated to work autonomously within a wider team.
-prior experience in cost tracking and management will be vital to success in this role
