Job Description:
Apprenticeships Group Australia (AGA), one of Victoria’s largest providers of employment and training opportunities for apprentices and trainees is seeking to recruit a dynamic Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Operations Manager to oversee our RTO business unit. This role is a key position within the organisational structure, commensurate with our desire to secure a candidate who can partner with the Management team to implement a business model redesign for our RTO and help AGA evolve operationally and structurally in order to take advantage of a range of identified current and future growth opportunities.
The successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, demonstrate a high level of management and leadership skills and be able to effectively communicate and implement change management systems and processes. Industry experience in a role at or near a similar level in another RTO would be well regarded, as would a detailed understanding of the current regulatory and compliance framework placed upon RTOs in Victoria. It is expected that the successful candidate can demonstrate an ability to build capacity in others and develop a team capable of adapting to a changing and challenging operating environment.
You must have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously and to build rapport and sustainable, effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, specifically Staff, Industry Clients, Students and Government representatives. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to participate in an organisation where your skills and experience will be valued and will assist in repositioning the organisation for the next exciting phase of its evolution.
Initially offered as an 18 month contract role, with a view to on-going employment at the end of this period, an excellent remuneration package, commensurate with the experience and qualifications will be offered to the successful candidate. This position can be based in either Melbourne or Gippsland but will require visibility throughout both regions in order to effectively manage your team.
