Job Title: System Implementation Officer – Telephony Systems

System Implementation Officer – Telephony Systems
Background information:

We underpin Computershare's total service package through creative technology applications that are deployed at all stages of the financial market cycle.
An opportunity has become available for a Systems Implementation Officer to join the Business Technology Delivery Team. The primary responsibility of this role is the coordination of day to day support , issue management, new system releases, new functionality, and project management relating to all areas of our Telephony systems (Avaya, CMS, NICE), with the aim being to deliver more efficient and technically advanced tools to the business for the purpose of:
Enhancement and continuous improvement of systems
Enhancing customer satisfaction
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Conducting user acceptance testing
Providing first level system support
Configuring the systems
Implementation of system functionality and training to users
Completion of documentation, including requirement documentation and user manuals
Providing assistance in scoping of new functionality and transactions
Recommending and implementing continual improvement activities
This position will ideally suit someone technically minded who enjoys working with people. Qualifications in IT are desirable but not essential provided you have experience in an IT related field. You must be an excellent communicator, with the confidence and ability to sit within and liaise with the business in order to understand and gather requirements.
As a key part of this role focuses on enhancement and continuous improvement, you must be a self-starter with strong initiative and a commitment to quality who enjoys taking ownership of their work.
To be considered for this role you must have:
Excellent attention to detail
Proven problem-solving capabilities
Strong time management with the ability to prioritise accordingly
A drive to deliver a superior customer service to key stakeholders
Proven ability to work well in a team
Testing, training, application support or helpdesk experience and an understanding of the SDLC will also be advantageous.
