Job Description:
The Anglican Diocese of Brisbane is looking for an enthusiastic Financial Systems Administrator who has a flair for customer service and a passion for improving and supporting financial systems and processes. This is an exciting position that offers a dynamic working environment, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to join a team of customer focused professionals to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial systems across the organisation. The right person will enjoy putting their financial process knowledge to use, and earn satisfaction from assisting users in getting maximum efficiencies from our financial systems.
The Financial Systems Administrator's key responsibilities include providing specialist systems advice and guidance, system maintenance, and training functions for the Financial suite of applications. The Financial Systems Administrator will also provide support to end users, identify and implement systems improvements and upgrades in accordance with established processes. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to analyse and solve problems.
This is a part time role working 26.6 hours per week during business hours with flexibility to determine hours and days worked.
To be successful you will be required to have:
* Experience in the support and/or maintenance of financial applications and implementing process improvements
* Demonstrated understanding of financial and accounting concepts and practices
* Excellent knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office
* Strong desire to learn new skills and embrace change in a positive way
* Outstanding customer focus and demonstrated willingness to provide excellent client service
* Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, commitments and handle competing demands without compromising service and quality standards
* An ability to communicate effectively with a variety of clients in written or oral form
* A National Police Certificate (or be eligible to apply for one at your own expense).
* Experience with using or supporting SunSystems is highly desired.
